Guest Session
As a tool we have a Guest Problem Solving Session or just prophetic encouragement prayer. This is a simple and safe space where a brother can come as he is, without needing to appear strong, experienced, or spiritually “successful.” Many believers carry questions, fears, pressure, confusion, hidden struggles, or situations they do not know how to process alone. Very often people stay isolated for too long because they feel ashamed to open their heart honestly or afraid they will be judged. This session exists to remove that isolation and allow someone to receive sincere help from mature believers who genuinely care.
When a guest joins the group, he is welcomed not as a project to fix, but as a brother. Yes, it is confidential ! Nobody expects perfection, ministry experience, or polished answers. The purpose is simply to create a peaceful atmosphere where he can openly speak about what is really happening in his life. He may share struggles in his walk with God, emotional pressure, family tension, fear, confusion about calling, repeated failure, loss of spiritual hunger, temptation, loneliness, or areas where he feels stuck and unable to move forward.
The group listens carefully and respectfully. People are not there to attack, preach at him, or make him feel small. Instead, mature brothers try to help him see his situation more clearly, recognize roots that may be hidden underneath the surface, and encourage him toward practical next steps. Sometimes a person has carried pressure alone for so long that simply being heard honestly already begins bringing healing and relief.
During the conversation, people may gently ask questions that help open deeper areas of the heart. Not to expose someone publicly, but to help them understand themselves more honestly before God. Very often fear, shame, disappointment, exhaustion, offense, or hidden insecurity quietly shape a person’s life without them realizing it. As truth is spoken with love and calmness, many people begin experiencing clarity, peace, and hope again.
Nobody is forced to share beyond what they are comfortable sharing. Trust grows naturally. The goal is not emotional pressure or dramatic experiences. The goal is to help a person leave lighter, clearer, encouraged, and no longer feeling alone in their struggle.
At the end of the session, the group prays together for the guest personally — for peace, wisdom, healing, strength, direction, protection, and deeper closeness with God. Many people discover that honest relationships and sincere spiritual support can strengthen them far more deeply than trying to fight every battle alone.
Very often growth begins not at the moment a person becomes strong, but at the moment they finally become honest.
10. Listening Circle
(A very powerful practice for emotional maturity.)
One person opens their heart and begins sharing honestly about something real happening in their life. It may be pressure in ministry, confusion, emotional exhaustion, fear, family tension, disappointment, loss of peace, or simply something they have been carrying internally for a long time without fully processing it. The goal is not to sound spiritual, strong, or impressive. The goal is honesty.
People stay fully present. During the entire session, we avoid interrupting, debating, preaching, emotional fixing, or turning the conversation back toward ourselves. The purpose is not to showcase wisdom or spiritual maturity. The purpose is to love someone well enough to truly hear them.
The others are not allowed to:
- give advice
- interrupt
- correct
- preach
They simply listen! Afterward, everyone can briefly say:
- “What I hear you saying is…”
- “What I felt while listening to you...”
- “I can feel how heavy this has been for you...”
- “I notice fear appearing when you speak about this situation...”
- “It sounds like you have been carrying this alone for a long time...”
This helps the person feel understood before receiving guidance. At the end, the group may pray briefly and peacefully for the person, not with emotional intensity or pressure, but with sincerity, gentleness, and care. The goal is for the person to leave feeling lighter, understood, less isolated, and more aware of God’s presence in the middle of their struggle.
